We had a lovely time at this cabin for a long weekend. Plenty of parking, clean inside and out. The sound of the creek in the backyard was so lovely.

It won’t let me post the review yet since we’re technically not supposed to check out until tomorrow but I will share on Airbnb tomorrow: We loved our summer stay at Bears Creek Lodge! This is our second time staying at the Layne’s beautiful mountain home. The creek out back was a big hit for our Nature loving kids (ages 8, 5 & 1). We spent a lot of time hanging by the fire in the back yard while the kids and dog played outside. It was just the getaway our family needed 💚 Lauren is super attentive and adds great personal touches throughout the house. You can’t beat the location! We loved going to the Famous Brick Oven place in Beech and Sorrento’s in Banner Elk. We also loved hiking the trails and playing at the playground at Buckeye Recreation Center. Looking forward to staying again and exploring more hikes the next time we stay! Thank you Layne Family for sharing your mountain home with our Family 💚🌿🥾🐛

We loved our stay at the cabin! Lauren was super flexible, responsive and accommodating. The cabin was beautiful and I feel like it felt bigger than what is seen in the pictures. My family and I enjoyed the cabin, hot tub, games and nearby river- so peaceful, private and secluded. Thank you so much!! Would definitely return and recommend!

Our cabin stay here was fabulous! We had a group of 10 adults, and we had enough space to hang out together in the common areas while having the privacy of comfy bedrooms. The view was picturesque and the furniture and the decorations went so well together. Lauren was super responsive during my booking process, provided clear check-in instructions and house rules ahead of our visit. And whenever I reached out with even the smallest questions during our stay, I really appreciated Lauren's quick responses. Thank you Lauren for making this mountain trip so great!

Our cabin stay was amazing! Lauren was very responsive the entire time. We had one issue and it got fixed right away! The cabin is great for families and kids. We truly had everything we needed. Its such a beautiful location for a peaceful getaway! We will definitely be coming back.

We have stayed in many mountain cabins and this one was absolutely beautiful! The cathedral ceilings, open views, large windows and beautiful furnishings were perfect. So much space for guests with comfy beds and roomy bathrooms. We absolutely loved the hot tub with gorgeous views and all the labels in the kitchen cabinets. The host was very responsive and kind when we left something behind and we accidentally made our checkout process a bit more tricky. She was very helpful! Would absolutely return.

Hurdles are bound to happen in any situation, but how you handle these hurdles makes all the difference. Upon check-in, there were 1-2 things that required fixing but Lauren went above and beyond to make sure it was fixed in a timely manner and that we were taken care of. Her communication and attentiveness to her guests were among the best I have ever had at an AirBnB. The Cabin was clean, spacious, and perfectly served my family for our Ski-Trip to Beech Mountian. I would highly recommend booking this private getaway for your next escape! Thank you Lauren for the incredible stay.
